1979 China's government helped to organize his first individual exhibition. Also was awarded a prize award and received national honor
1982 Started to learn Western drawings
1985 Began learning how to sculpture and make pottery in Guangzhou Art School, China. Won the award for young sculptor
1987 Enrolled in China' s Ru Xun Academy of Fine Arts. Graduated and won China' s first Art Academy show high prize
1992 Japan-China Friendship Association invited his school to Japan. Won the Japanese Language prize
1993 19th Nagano territories artists invited him to Beijing Expo
1994 Went to France to research western painting
1999, Won the 'Memorial Award' in Hong Kong and Macao joint art exhibition
2002 Won the 'Outstanding Award' in China' s fifth industrial art exhibition show
2003, Won the 'Academic Research Award' in the first China Industry Expo Academic Award Exhibition
2004 Won in China' s first National Academy of Arts. Awarded 'Art Academic Award'
Now, Shimo is based in Singapore. His works are on display at national and regional exhibitions and locations in British, France, United States and Japan. In Sweden, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong and Macao, Singapore and Taiwan.

Shimo is following after China's famous artists, Wu KwanZhong and Ding ShaoGuang, and has successfully integrated Western with contemporary arts. With time, his art has become accomplished to an amazing degree. While taking after the examples of well-known artists from the past. Shimo also processes an outstanding talent in his craft of art. With this talent, he creates beautiful works of arts that are unique in every way. Armed with a profound thinking, his art works never fail to amaze people with their originality. He will, without doubt, leave a mark in this century's history of arts.

诗默艺术简历
诗默，是中国继吴冠中，丁绍光之后又一位成功将东方艺术精神同西方艺术语言完美融合的当代杰出艺术家。他的艺术造诣已经到了令人叹为观止的呈度，他站在中西方艺术史的群峰之间，十年一剑，高詹远瞩，博采众学。他藐视当代浮躁，大器孤傲。以大师出世般的卓越才情，超然的艺术技巧创造出独特而辉煌的艺术作品。他思想的深遂理智和所展现出的非凡潜力令世人惊奇。并必将在当今艺术史上写下浓重的一笔。

1979年 由政府出资主办第一次个人画展，荣获政府特别奖金及授予国家级荣誉。
1982年 开始学习西方绘画。
1985年 在广州艺术专科学校学习雕塑、陶艺，荣获中国青年雕塑家奖。
1987年 入中国鲁迅美术学院中国画系学习，毕业荣获中国首届艺术院校大展最高奖。
1992年 应日中友好协会邀请作为访问学者赴日本，荣获日本国文部省文化交奖。
1993年 日本长野世界艺术家邀请展，东京日展。
1995年 在法国进行西方绘画研修。
1999年 香港大会堂港澳回归艺术大展记念奖。
2002年 中国第五届工笔画大展优秀奖。
2003年 中国首届工笔重彩艺术大展学术奖。
2004年 中国首届全国艺术学院名家艺术展学术奖。
2007年 赴新加坡定居。
作品展出国家和地区：英国、法国、美国、日本、希腊、瑞典、澳洲、阿联酋、香港、澳门、新加坡和台湾等。
